This guide produced in 2018 is for organisations who want to increase their knowledge of neurodiversity, learn about benefits of neurodiversity for their organisation and learn how they can support neurodivergent employees be successful and comfortable in the workplace. The aim of this guide is to increase awareness of neurodiversity among employers and to inspire more employers to take action. Along with many practical actions that organisations can make, this guide includes case studies throughout and further resources.

Dyslexia in the workplace A TUC guide

This guide was originally written to help TUC representatives support members with dyslexia. However, this third edition published in 2013/14 was revised based on the introduction of the Equality Act (2010), a greater focus on dyslexia in the workplace and the work and experience that has been conducted in this area. The guide includes information about dyslexia and its impact, information about workplace needs assessment (WNA), how to agree adjustments and how to make workplace policies more dyslexia-friendly. Case studies and further resources are also provided.
